Home Electrolysis Hair Removal – The Clean & Easy Deluxe

electrolysis-home-kitYou may think that electrolysis is way too complicated to be properly performed at home. While there are several home kits which don’t do a good job, there is one which is very good. We’ll look at it here. In our opinion it’s the only one you should consider spending your money on if professional treatment isn’t for you.

Clean & Easy Deluxe Home Electrolysis

It’s surprising that a fully working electrolysis system can be put into a product so small. The Clean & Easy is one of the few (and probably the best) systems which offers permanent hair removal. Remember that laser hair removal doesn’t offer 100% permanent hair removal. Just permanent hair reduction.

The device lets you have permanent hair removal on a small-scale. So it’s not really suitable for removing hair from large body areas like the legs (this would take absolutely ages!). But it’s great at removing small patches of facial hair (although not on men, their facial hair is too dense) regardless of skin or hair color.

Essentially it’s similar to a smaller version of the sort of device you would get at a salon or clinic. You insert the stylet on top of the follicle and an electronic current is passed through the hair follicle therefore disabling it. Note – unlike some electrolysis devices you don’t need to insert anything into the hair follicle; it doesn’t pierce the skin.

There are several intensity settings if it hurts too much. Keep in mind that the device is battery operated though, so even if electrolysis sounds scary, it’s not going to be that painful. It can’t be with that amount of power. But it is portable so you can use it pretty much anywhere.

Electrolysis can be very costly at a salon. So buying the Clean & Easy Deluxe is a real option if you don’t want to spend too much. You should be able to pick it up for under $40. But have a look at the latest Amazon price here. Some people will just prefer to do the treatment themselves. It’s not too hard and is just much more convenient than having the treatment done at a clinic. Though of course clinic / salon treatments do have their advantages.

Expected Results

The device does work. The majority of people who bought this product report that after treating an area there is a bit of scabbing. But then once the scabs heal, the hair doesn’t grow back. If the hair does grow back it probably means the treatment wasn’t performed correctly.

Getting the technique right is very important but you’ll learn as you go. You need to get the stylet at exactly the right point for the treatment to be effective. So it’s a bit of a learning process. The instructions need to be followed exactly, for example you need to prepare some salt water to use with the device. If you don’t follow the instructions precisely the results will probably be poor. If you just want a quick and easy solution maybe this device isn’t for you.

The main problem seems to be how time-consuming using the device is, when using it you’ll need to split the sessions up. People recommend doing just 10-20 hairs at a time. So you can see why it’s not designed for large areas! The device performs best on the following areas:

  • Eyebrows.
  • Upper lips.
  • Chin.
  • Bikini area.
  • Hands.
  • Feet.

In conclusion – It’s a great device at a good price, but you need to put the time and effort in. If you don’t think you can do this then maybe clinic treatment will be better.
